Method for Using Pressure Test Paper and Determining Pressure Values

Detecting Pressure Distribution with Pressure Test Film

When using pressure test film, the red color density changes according to the applied pressure:

• Darker red areas indicate higher pressure.
• Lighter red areas indicate lower pressure.

Observation method:
Place the developed K sheet with the shiny (PET) side facing up on a white sheet of paper, and observe in a well-lit environment to assess the pressure distribution.

Determining Pressure Values Using Standard Pressure-Density Charts

To obtain quantitative pressure values:

1. Compare the developed K sheet with the standard color samples and standard pressure-density charts of the pressure test film.
2. Select the appropriate standard pressure-density chart based on the pressing conditions, such as:
   • Continuous pressure
   • Instantaneous pressure
   • Temperature and humidity during pressing
3. Place the developed K sheet with the shiny (PET) side facing up on a white sheet of paper, and observe under good lighting. Use the color density comparison to determine the corresponding pressure value.
